There’s also an exclusive restaurant, bar, and the pool that’s only for guests staying in The Haven. While Haven guests can enjoy the rest of the ship, other passengers can’t enter The Haven. Treatment prices in the spa are about what you'd pay in a high-end spa in New York City (read, expensive) and incur automatic 20-percent gratuities that you can't change. You'll find a slew of massage and facial options, plus there are medi-spa treatments like Botox, teeth whitening and ionithermie, even acupuncture. Prime spots fill up quickly so it's best to book what you want, for when you want it, on the first or second day of the cruise. Keep an eye out for port day pricing, which is slightly lower than on sea days, or buy three "signature" treatments, and get 10, 20 and 30 percent off.
There are waterslides on cruise ships… and then there is the Ocean Loops. You’ll see the slide before you even board as it’s hard to miss. The ports themselves are great and absolutely on many cruisers' bucket lists. However, the scheduled arrival times and some of the related logistics had me scratching my head. Pool Deck 16 has 2 swimming pools (located away from midship) and cantilevered whirlpools (hot tubs over the ship's sides).

You can expect a space ratio of 34 gross tons per passenger on this ship. Norwegian Encore does not have self-service laundry facilities. Passengers wishing to have garments laundered or pressed can send them out to be cleaned or dry-cleaned for a fee. On my sailing, prices ranged from $1.95 to launder one undergarment to $19.95 to dry-clean (and press) a suit or evening gown. The ship's seven-night Eastern Caribbean offerings round-trip from Miami will set you back $96 per person, per night, in the beginning of 2024. Atrium activities like movie screenings (when the weather is too chilly for films to be shown on the outdoor screen), daily sudoku puzzles, singalongs and "Deal or No Deal" are also popular.
